With my evaluation there were a lot of ways i could approach it but the best idea i had to present it would be in the form of a video because you get the person explaining their idea via a screen, unlike prezi if you make an error during the video the person watching knows that your not perfect but can understand the kind of video you might produce and why.
Next if i did a video evaluation, how do i go about doing that video and what sound effects or music would i use and then what do i talk about and in what order, so if this is the case the best thing to do would make the evaluation like a news broadcast with different people(all of whom would be me) and each presenter could talk about a different aspect of the evaluation.
I could also possibly just walk somewhere sit down and start talking in a random location, however this seems like a really predictable thing to do.
I could even get the public to view the 2 minute opening and get their responses to it and have them ask me questions about it.
With a video i might even do something unusual like creating a adventure evaluation quest where i hunt down a villian and he leaves clues in the form of questions about the evaluation.
These are some ideas i've had

Production Company Logo
Whilst producing the opening for my movie i wasn't sure how i should go about creating a logo for my production company(Original Planet Productions), what i ended up doing as a way of making sure of doing something creative yet simple was to simply shoot a video and overlay some title writing over that short 5-10 second clip.
This has proved to be effective because of the way it was then edited, what i did was change the background colour and that created a basic yet interesting tile cover, which might undergo some tiny tweeks for the final opening.

Pre-evaluation thoughts and ideas of how to present them
For the evaluation there are a lot of things that i have to cover and that i have to discuss, like problems i might have had whilst i filmed or anything i may have discovered whilst working within my filming process.
Firstly, I'm not sure how i should deliver my evaluation, it could be written on my blog but that seems both tedious and time-consuming, so i might do something like produce a prezi or do a video evaluation, something that means people aren't going to be looking at a screen for anything more than 10-15 minutes at the most and I'd also like to put some form of personality to my evaluation, i don't want something that is vanilla(the same basic thing done over and over again) i want something i can make wacky, if somewhat informative as well as entertaining.
Secondly i need to set some guidelines/questions that i feel i should address within my evaluation.
1.)How does my opening challenge the conventions of current and past media products in terms of originality?
2.)How does my opening represent the Yu-Gi-Oh card game and the people who play that game in terms of social groups?
3.)What kind of media institution would want to distribute my product and why?
4.)Who would be the audience for my film?
5.)How will my film attract or address my audience?
6.)What I've learnt about technology from the whole filming process(including construction and filming)?
7.)And looking back at the preliminary task i did way back at the start of the course, how i think I've come along during the course of producing my opening?
By using these guidelines i feel i should be able to produce a interesting evaluation, how i deliver it is going to be an interesting decision, i could do a news report like video adopting wacky persona's to deliver these guidelines or i could produce a prezi about it and some of the interesting ways Ive worked on my project, i could even take a camera and just sit there on a chair talking about the whole process, the ideas for delivery are practically endless.

Things I Didn't Use In My Film
Well event though I've made a 2 minute film opening, i didn't use everything that I've filmed, that's not really surprising because obviously i only needed 2 minutes of overall footage, i also said I'd like to insert some form of comical music i created myself into my opening, even though i played about with garage-band i still found i could only use the basic loops and didn't really feel i had time to experiment properly with the program, i also found that even though i showed some locations for shooting originally i didn't use half of the places i showed but got shots from other places instead.
I said i'd like to also show lots of footage of actual game play, this didn't appear because i felt that after 10 minutes of recording and then watching it back, everything became the same, and looked the same, to change this i could have changed some rules and really got the action flying about.
Apart from that though i managed to include everything else at some point, which of course makes me somewhat happy with my progress.

Narrating My Opening Part 2
Doing the narration for my film was difficult because even though i had pre-made the script for it months ago i found it didn't really work for me, because i had no time to really set a mood for the opening, with the new script i partially improvised and took a little bit from the script i wrote i do think I've produced a very good attempt at some opening narration.
What i also found was the microphone i was using was very sensitive and was picking up sounds from around me, a issue i highlighted earlier and discussed in my blog.
To avert this particular issue i decided to go to a quiet room within the academy and then from that point i began to narrate, there was a problem during one of my narration attempts where i hadn't put the microphone on, which resulted in me almost talking to myself for two minutes when i discovered i hadn't switched on the microphone, this was dealt with quickly and i continued on my way narrating.
My final thoughts on the narration process are that it's quite testing at times when you haven't got the perfect conditions for setting up the microphone, also i found that really good attempts at doing narration are rare in a school as people are always talking, so unless you have a quiet room, it's going to provide some issues during the schooling day, what might be easier next time is simply doing it before or after school to save time on re-recording because of stupid noise being heard throughout the narration.

Comparing the 2 film openings produced as drafts part 1
Well, firstly the first draft has a lot wrong with it in terms of music and where that happens to go and cut off at points, version 2 however is a much better product as it shows the power of mass editing, the first bit of new editing is the use camera effects, i put these in to show the cards within the video having some form of deity-like power, also the change of colour during the first 6 seconds of the opening changing the sky from blue to yellow, this makes the movie seem less serious and more comical, that's what i think anyway, besides that I've changed the music, timed it properly and added a laugh track, i don't really like the laugh track so I'll remove it in the finished version, i have also included more title blocks to help with transitions and this relates to some of my research because it has elements of phantasy star online's opening put into it using this technique, which looks interesting and gives an adventurous feel to the story.
Some issues i do have though is the mis-timing of music at the end of the opening which causes the adventure effect to be cancelled out, during the final product this will be edited out and replaced, to better suit the needs of the opening,
I will also include some more title blocks and apart from that everything seems to have gone quite well.

Editing The Final Piece Part 1
Editing a video is difficult with just about enough footage, luckily for me i've gotten about an hours worth of recordings to use for opening, considering the actually opening can only be 2 minutes long 1 hours worth of recording seems like overkill to be quite frank about it, however this has helped tremendously as i could mix and match recorded videos until i made something i liked the look of, after that i decided to mute all of the sound from the recordings and focus on creating a 2 minute soundtrack and doing narration.
Because i'm creating a 2 minute soundtrack it means i've had to learn how to use the Garageband program on the macintosh in about 2 weeks, luckily i decided to have a play about with the program during my break times and i feel it payed of because even though i still don't know how to do everything i can do the basic editing which is good enough to put any music into my opening.

Narrating The Opening Part 1
Narrating the opening is quite difficult, not so much in actually doing it as where I'm going to do it seeing as the media has too much sound pick-up to make any kind of recording effective.
Instead i decided to opt for either going somewhere quiet and recording or going home, and vocally recording there and then coming back to the media room with my recorded sound, i figure the easiest way would be to find somewhere quiet, luckily the foxley site also has some recording facilities which i'm going to see if i can make use of.
If i am able to make use of the facilities then i will do and hopefully get everything recorded just in time.

Explaining The Provisional Opening
As part of my editing process i decided to upload a voiceless version of my opening in order to explain it before the final product is edited and uploaded with narration.
Firstly i showed the sun in the sky during a sunset to open up the opening and then showing me walking up the hill for continuity purposes as i then proceed to stand at the top of the hill.
After that there is a shot of me raising my arm and showing cards the screen then fades to white, this is show that the person holding the cards and the cards themselves have some form of power.
Continuing onwards it goes to a shot of me doing a Xyz Summon on camera as a way to show some playing footage and leading onward into the scene with the other players playing each other as the narrator explains about the world of card games.
after that it shows some cards in a folder being turned page by page and the narration continues, and that leads into a transition of me opening a pack of cards with the golden card up the back, and the dramatic sound effect will go with the words, "Hello Ebay" this is to show comic effects. and that explains the voiceless version of my opening.

Creating Videos To Show Me Outside The Opening Whilst On Location Part 2
Continuing the series after the first day of filming, discovering camera postions i didn't think i might use
Creating Videos To Show Me Outside The Opening Whilst On Location Part 1
This Video Was Created On Location At Stowlawn Wood
The opening i am creating is a intresting experience so to compliment what i'm doing i'll be producing some side videos which will be shot on location.
These videos will be improvised for comedic feel as well as a sense of reality to a otherwise abnormal film
